@JayPhilosopher , i feel sorry for your wife 🙁 im glad she can get better. but why couldnt you have health insurance?? anyway, what about the other people who will die, or not get the care they need? and, btw, just because they will ‘cover’ her, does not mean she will get the best care possible. i am sorry to say. at least at this moment, you could get ANY thing you wanted to treat her, even if you couldnt afford it. not so will the health care reform.

  2. JayPhilosopher says:

    @4eva5000 Actually, …
@4eva5000 Actually, my wife has a precondition, a heart problem, so she have been without health care insurance for the past 4 years. Now, because of this bill, we will be able to get coverage for her. So the way I feel, President Obama and the Democrats who voted for this bill saved my wife’s life. I owe them big time.
I reject all the nonsense that the Republican teabaggers say about the death panels because the insurance companies already sentenced my wife to die. This bill gives her life.

    @JayPhilosopher , …
@JayPhilosopher , the way this reform is set up is to look good upon its surface. what they say on the television sounds good. but search in deeper, read INTO the bill. and look at how it will effect you. i honestly want you to do this, because only then will you see that this is not good. on thing they will do is figure the average lifespan of a person, and if you are older than that, they can decide to not give you the care you need to live.

    @4eva5000 I am …
@4eva5000 I am disappointed that the bill did not have a public option. Anything that gives the federal government some control over the greedy tyrannical insurance pirates is a positive move for the country. If this bill saves some of the 45,000 workers whom the insurance capitalists murder each year, it will be a good thing.

  6. 4eva5000 says:

oh gosh. i told you …
oh gosh. i told you i wasnt going to respond, but this is just rediculous. the health care reform is bad for the country. i cannot change your mind, but you will see soon.

  9. JayPhilosopher says:

    Please cite where …
Please cite where in the bill says that you have to pay the government to have your own health insurance. This sounds like one of the insane lies you hear repeatedly on billionaire Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News channel. Murdoch, age 78, has 4 billion dollars and can afford the best medical care in the world for himself. He has a life long hatred of the poor and working class and has dedicated his life to misinforming, exploiting. and enslaving them. You should not repeat crazy lies from Fox News.

  10. 4eva5000 says:

    ok, this is the …
ok, this is the last time i am going to waste my time speaking to you. you can have other health insurance, BUT, you would have to pay the government to do so. and, you say it will save money? what about the money we are going to have to spend to actually GET the insurance? and yes, this health care is like socialized medicine. i DID not get that form any new show. i got that from my OWN assesment. have you read the health care bill?

  11. JayPhilosopher says:

    You seem to be …
You seem to be extremely misinformed about this bill. Please stop misinforming people by spreading false information. You can choose whatever health insurance you want under this bill, it will save the country billions of dollars a year, and there is no health care set up like it anywhere in the world, so it is impossible that you have relatives that have died because of a similar health care setup. People at Fox News get paid Millions by billionaire Rupert Murdock to lie, he doesn’t pay you.

  12. 4eva5000 says:

    it’s not the the …
it’s not the the federal governments obligation to take care of the people.answer me this, how is it constitutional to MAKE the US citizen pay for something they dont want. what if i dont want it, and i’d rather have Aetna instead? i would have to pay a surcharge. HOW IS THAT RIGHT! the bill will also bankrupt the country, WE CAN’t AFFORD IT! it may help some people, it is socialized medicine. i have relatives that have died because of a similar health care setup. it wont help, it will hurt us.

  13. JayPhilosopher says:

    The main points of …
The main points of the bill are well known. It will help over 50,000,000 people who have no health care insurance. It will save billions of dollars in health care costs by lowering premiums. There is nothing unconstitutional about the Federal Government helping people to stay alive. In fact, that is the most fundamental obligation of the Federal Government. I am not mad, but quite reasonable. You need to broaden your sources of information and obtain better role models.

  14. 4eva5000 says:

SO MANY OF YOU ARE …
SO MANY OF YOU ARE BLIND!!! open your eyes and see what happening. the democrats can pass this thing now if they wanted too!! they want the republicans to vote so if somehting goes wrong they can BLAME them. Doesn’t that tell you somthing?

  15. 4eva5000 says:

    exactly. somebody …
exactly. somebody has some sense. What are you republican, independant?

  16. 4eva5000 says:

    i dont undrstand …
i dont undrstand how you could want this bill. We dont even know what is in it. NObody has read thorough it completely. How can you put your trust in a documount that YOU dont know what it hold. NOT TO MENTION the fact that it will cost us BILLIONS!! This will not help us. It is unconstitutional, they force us to have it, they cant fo that, its in our right! If we wanted other insurance we would have to pay a surcharge. I you are still in favor of this, you are mad!

  17. 4eva5000 says:

    Fox News loving …
Fox News loving crazies?! They are the only ones that tell both sides!! they are the only ones that arent extremely liberal!! This health care bill is unconstitutional (excuse my spelling) it is 2,000 pages and NOBODY knows what is in it. There could be ANYTHING. we dont know. that is why we shouldnt have this reform. not to mention we can’t afford it. We are so high ni debt that this will plunge us even farther!!!!

  18. 4eva5000 says:

    President Obama has …
President Obama has almnost on experience. he does NOT desever to be president. Why? He was barely a senator for 2 years, maybe not even. Many governeors have more experienc ethatn he does. I do not trust his Judgement purely because he is pro large governments, and it is not what America needs.

  19. OdinHyrule says:

    I may joke about …
I may joke about the president, but I trust his judgement. He’s got a lot of expert in economics and medicine consulting him about this reform and I trust his decision.

    So again for YOU …
So again for YOU liberals.. YOUR party has the “majority” vote and need NO GOP votes at all to pass anything they want to shove down OUR throats… so what’s the “excuse” now???
And DO read the accounts of the Congressional Budget Office reports on the “estimated” costs of the premiums WE will be FORCED to pay!
    Premiums will be HIGHER!

AND…. the polls are STILL showing gains for the GOP and NOT the Dems!
But… 2010 WILL be interesting especially IF the Dems pass ANY of these plans! LOL

  23. JayPhilosopher says:

    If a person is …
If a person is trying to get somewhere and some people block their path, you do not blame the person for not being able to get where they want to go, you blame the people blocking their path. Pres. Obama is trying to get all 47 million covered, at the moment, the Republicans and some Democrats are blocking that proposal, so we can only get 23 million people. Hopefully, these obstructionists will be voted out in 2010 and we can move forward.
Premiums will be lower for all when the bill passes.

  24. bigtex501 says:

    fraser,
    And those …

    fraser,
And those on “food stamps” will INCREASE big time as obamer & the Dems FORCE us to buy health care insurance, pay HIGHER taxes, Cap & Trade taxes, a National Sales Tax of up to 20% on TOP of our existing taxes…

Where do I get in line for food stamps when I won’t be able to afford to go to the grocery store????

  25. bigtex501 says:

    Jay,
    YOU miss the …

    Jay,
YOU miss the fact that YOUR Dem party’s health care bill will STILL leave 24 MILLION people with OUT coverage???
That’s MORE than 1/2 of those 47 MILLION obamer “promised” would get ..”the health care coverage they deserve”????
And did YOU miss the CBO’s report that the FORCED health care insurance that WE MUST buy will be HIGHER and NOT lower as obamer… “families will see a $2,500 DROP in their insurance premiums????
And did YOU know that obamer is STILL using the Patriot Act?
